Vendor Applicant Information

The Milford Farmers' Market is actively seeking new vendors. If you are a New Hampshire vendor looking for a venue, please contact a Market Coordinator:

Rules for Vendors

  • Products sold at this market are limited to those grown or made in New Hampshire.
  • Up to 25% of the products sold by the vendor may be purchased for resale, but these must be New Hampshire grown or made. If a product is grown by other members, buying in from non-member farms is discouraged unless there is sufficient demand for the product.
  • Annual dues are determined each year at the annual meeting held at a mutually convenient time at the beginning of each year.
  • Market hours are from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Tractor Supply lot in the Granite Town Plaza on Elm Street.
  • Market usually starts in June with member consensus and when enough farms have sufficient produce available. The market usually ends by mid-October or when farms are out of adequate produce to sell.
  • This market is not intended for unloading produce at below fair market value prices. Pricing is based on the New Hampshire Weekly Market Bulletin as a guide.
  • Vendors must start by mid-July and are expected to be present every Saturday until their produce is at the end of its season. Exceptions to this rule can be made with the agreement of the majority of the vendors.
  • Vendors are expected to keep their spaces clean.
  • Vendors not coming to the market should notify the Market Coordinator by Friday before the market.
  • Applications should be submitted by April 1st. Insurance and appropriate licenses must be submitted before the opening of the first market. Each regular member will pay an annual membership fee of $50.00 and a weekly vendor fee of $10.00 to cover the cost of promotion and not to exceed $1,200, which will be the promotional budget.
  • The market coordinators are encouraged to find guest vendors to add diversity to the market. Guest vendors will pay $15.00 each market they attend.
